In Wanaka, Central Otago, New Zealand, on the 45th parallel & at 380m above sea level, ours is a vineyard on the edge.

A north-facing slope (that hides a special geology), and one of the highest around - our 12-hectares of vines love it, and hand-on-heart, so do we. ⁠For two decades our vines have been in the ground and fastidiously tended by our viticultralist's. Patience and pinot are great partners.

The very best fruit from each vintage is selected to make akitu A1, A2, & Pinot Noir Blanc; an elegant, powerful yet subtle and beguiling wines. A true expression of the place we’re from, what we aspire to and what our vines have endured in this wonderful, extreme, alpine environment.

PJ Charteris makes our wine and we could not have found a better partner to weave magic into our annual harvest. Each bunch we select, each parcel we ferment, each barrel we choose to blend are all pivotal parts of the bigger plan to deliver a wine which is truly of place, a fine wine of Central Otago.
