Peacock's Tail is a local business based in Brooklyn, Wellington (New Zealand) dedicated to making deliciously healthy, low-sugar, probiotic beverages.

Our aim is to provide a satisfying and stimulating alternative to alcohol and sugary soft-drinks, while striving towards zero waste by re-using our glass bottles and corny kegs.

Our first offering is a zesty Kawakawa Ginger Beer, batch-brewed the old fashioned way with lashings of fresh Fijian root ginger for spicy warmth, lemon juice for zing and native NZ Kawakawa leaves for a herbal, slightly peppery note (and it’s well-known medicinal properties). Rounded out with just enough sweetness to balance the spice, bottle-conditioned for natural effervescence, and unpasteurised so it’s still teeming with probiotic microbes, the resulting brew ticks all the boxes and really hits the spot!
